When are you open?
We are open Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. We are closed on Sundays and holidays.
What holidays are you closed on?
We are closed on federal holidays. Please check our events calendar for scheduled closures.
Can I book the WET Science Center for my event or party?
The WET Science Center is not available for private events or parties.
Does it cost to visit?
There is no cost for visiting the WET Science Center or participating in events or programs.
What age level is the WET Science Center appropriate for?
We have some exhibits that are appropriate for younger kids and toddlers. Many activities and exhibits are best for ages 8 and up.
How long does it take to see everything?
Most visitors take about an hour to get through the activities and exhibits. Younger children may be done in less time.
Are there bathrooms? A gift shop? Café?
Bathrooms are available to WET Science Center visitors. There is no gift shop or place to purchase food or drinks.
Does your Saturday event feature live animals?
With the exception of some marine-themed partner events, animal-themed events do not feature live animals.
Is there somewhere to eat lunch in the WET Center while we visit?
Food and drink are not allowed in the WET Science Center exhibits. Groups may be able to have food and drink in the WET Center classroom with pre-approved access. There are outdoor spaces and eateries nearby.
How do I get a tour of the treatment plant?
Plant tours are available to the public on select Saturdays throughout the year. Please check our events calendar for upcoming tour dates.
